We are honored to introduce the remarkable individuals who make up our board.  Each member has been thoughtfully chosen for their unique talents and deep commitment to our mission, vision, and values.  Their passion and dedication enrich our organization and drive us forward.  Together, we are hopeful that, with their guidance and support, we can amplify our efforts to nourish and uplift those in need.

Barry, a retired engineer, has a deep passion for breaking the cycle of poverty among God's people.  On a mission trip to Uganda, he witnessed first hand the life changing impact that land ownership has on rural communities.  With access to land, individuals can earn a living through farming, which not only sustains families but also strengthens the local church and uplifts the entire community.  Barry's commitment to this cause reflects his heart for service, which he also brings to his role as a Deacon at his local church.  Through his dedication he is making a meaningful difference in the lives of others, one step at a time.

Brandy Belue

Brandy, with a strong background in residential real estate and management, is a passionate advocate for people.  She is driven by her unwavering faith in Christ and her love for Jesus fuels her commitment to serving others, with a light that radiates through every aspect of her daily life.  Brandy's global mission work has taken her to various corners of the world, where she as seen great poverty and starvation.  She feels a profound calling from the Lord to dedicate her heart and efforts to end starvation and poverty, both domestically and internationally.  Through her collaboration with Acres of Love, Brandy is wholeheartedly committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of those in need, bringing hope and love to communities and individuals who long for a brighter future.

Chrystal has had the joy and privilege of being a professional nanny caring for children of all ages for over 35 years.  Her calling has always been to bring love, care, and compassion into the lives of children, the elderly and animals.  She feels truly blessed to share these gifts on a larger scale, as God has deepened my desire to make an even greater impact.  It brings me immense joy to join Acres of Love International and be part of this beautiful mission.

Rodney is a Texas business owner and co-founder of Life Change International, where his deep passion for the Gospel of Jesus Christ shines through in every endeavor.  With a genuine desire to see lives transformed, Rodney dedicates himself to spreading the powerful message of the Gospel both locally and internationally.  Through initiatives like Acres of Love International and meaningful partnerships with various organizations, he works tirelessly to bring hope and change to those in need, believing that every life can be touched by the love of Christ.

Valerie is a devoted woman of God, called to serve Jesus in every way He leads her.  As a retired school teacher with a heart for children, she finds great joy in nurturing and caring for the little ones, knowing they are precious in His sight.  She also has a deep love for animals and enjoys caring for the pets of family and friends.  Having been by Randy and Jennifer's side in Uganda when Acres of Love International was entrusted to them, she is both honored and thrilled to join the team as a board member.  She is excited to serve God and His people through this beautiful mission, working together to make a lasting impact on His creation.

Pastor David Balabyekubo

Acres of Love International African Coordinator, Pastor David Balabyekubo is a dedicated husband and loving father of four.  He is deeply committed to his family and community.  As a pastor of a thriving church in the Kamuli District of Busoga Uganda, he embodies compassion and service.  David's heart beats for the widows and orphans in his congregation and beyond, striving to uplift and support those in need.  He passionately oversees a vibrant orphanage that cares for 200 children, providing them with a safe and nurturing environment.  Additionally, he leads a primary school that serves students from kindergarten through eighth grade, ensuring that education is accessible to all.  As our ambassador for Acres of Love International, David tirelessly advocates for the welfare of children and families throughout Uganda, making a profound impact on countless lives His unwavering dedication inspires hope and love in everyone he meets.

Randy and Jennifer Alvarez

Our Founders

In late July/early August 2023. Randy and Jennifer Alvarez had the privilege of going on a twelve day missions trip to Uganda Africa.  While there we visited Entebbe, Kampala, Jinja, Kamuli and Busoga areas. We saw how impoverished these regions were and we noticed that the only ones thriving were the land owners. After witnessing this and seeing how the churches were struggling to provide even a single meal for all of their starving widows, orphans and congregation, Jennifer was given an epiphany from the Holy Spirit with the entire vision of this non-profit endeavor all at once.  I was on board with the vision and ministry work. We shared this vision with many of the Pastors and leaders there and they were excited.  Land is what is needed for the church to grow and thrive.
